The GR4-trail from la Pobla de Lillet brings you all the way up to Pla de Erols (1450m) in North-western direction. On Pla de Erols you need to leave this trail and go in northern direction towards the Coll de Tortes, between Puigllançada and Tossal de Rus. This trail is indicated with stonemen (fites) and maintained by the cattle that go up and down the meadows. At Coll de Tortes you can choose to climb Puigllançada (2409 m) of Tossal de Rus (2116 m).

After a climb of 1500m from La Pobla de Lillet (800 m from Pla de Erols) you get a beautiful panorama of the eastern Pyrenees from Puigllançada (2409 m).

From Tossal de Rus (2116 m) and the other 'peaks' in the east you have a nice view over the mountainous landscape. In the valley lays La Pobla de Lillet with Catllaras in the back.

In the west you can distinguis Tosa d'Alp, Cadi and Pedraforca...below the layer of wildfire smoke from central Catalonia.

Following the GR4-trail all the way up to Coll de Pal (2100 m) and then towards La Tosa d'Alp (2535 m) leads you to the high plains with a beautiful view on the Pyrenees. The refuge Niu de l'Aliga is situated near the top.

The extension of the forest around La Pobla de Lillet is enormous. On rainy days clouds nestle in the trees.

From La Pobla there are several trails, such as the GR4-trail and PCR52-trail, that leads into the mountains of Catllaras, a area with dense forest, meadows, beautiful views, and a rich biodiversity.

Farm houses appear around the area of Cattlaras. The 'half-marathon' of Catllaras passes Can Serra.

Castell de la Vila contains the ruins of what once was the castell protecting the valley of Lillet. This site is one of the first settlements in the valley.

Catllaras is a small pearl of natural beauty. Many edemic plant species have their habitat here, as well as other species that have desappeared in other moutainous areas, such as the 'Edelweis' or the 'Caperciallie'.
